3 – Experience reviewing contract drawings and specifications related to structural steel

4 – Strong computer skills with Bluebeam, Outlook and Microsoft Office

5 – BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management

Job Description:

This position is office based and reports to the Chief Estimator.

The scope of work for the position involves executing computer aided and hand take off estimates of structural steel components.

This will include an understanding and ability to labor standard components. Tasks will include the development of supporting documentation for the preparation of a complete estimate.

This position will be required to perform take offs of all types of structural steel components and typical detail requirements.

Will be required to review vendor and sub-tier quotes to ensure scope compliance with contract documents.

Will produce estimate summaries identifying basic and special requirements for the required scope of work such as buy­ out Items.
