What you will do:
This position provides engineering and technical services to Operations service units to assure safe operations, regulatory compliance, and efficiency of these units.
- Support and closely cooperate with fellow Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C) Engineering counterparts in assuring safe operating conditions and regulatory compliance of production units
- Support and maintain instrumentation and automation for the production units
- Consult and support capital projects executed by project engineering
- Support process and technology transfer between production sites
- Support engineering team on capital invest and expense type projects
- Conduct or coordinate debottlenecking and troubleshooting activities
- Exercising Electrical & Instrumentation engineering judgement with respect to the process areas of responsibility and assigned subject matters
- Drive continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, and cost
- Support development of specifications, standards, and codes
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Computer Science Engineering
- 3 years of electrical engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering
- Thorough technical knowledge in the field of electrical or instrumentation engineering including relevant regulations, standards, and codes
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction practices
- Must be physically fit to wear an air purifying respirator if necessary
