Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler exists to support the objectives of the plant and assigned areas in managing the 24/7 planning and scheduling of the craft personnel and maintenance work throughout the facility.
This position will plan, organize, coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects or project assignments utilizing in-house maintenance personnel, outside contractors or venders.
Responsibilities include:
1)- Project lay-out/scope of work;
2) – Purchase of needed parts and /or materials from bill-of-material;
3) – Basic specification and design and development of prints;
4)- Submittal of contract bids for quote and award;
5) – Maintenance Planner position is to facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure the tasks are performed to high-quality standards in timely manner.
6)- Provide daily schedules, step-by-step plans and equipment outage schedules
7)- Provide detailed, step-by-step plans, parts, and materials to the Crafts & Schedulers.
8)- Coordinators and contractors which will allow them to efficiently complete their work.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution
3 years’ experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
